DILUTE PHASE CONVEYING SYSTEMS
Unlike Dense Phase, Dilute Phase systems use more air to move smaller amounts of material through an enclosed convey line. The low pressure, high velocity (3,500 to 9,000 feet per minute) air flow of a Dilute Phase system "suspends" materials in an airborne state. Dilute Phase conveying is an extremely cost-effective method for handling dry, non-abrasive, mildly abrasive, or non-fragile materials such as kaolin, flour, and bentonite.
